I applied for the Equal Power Equal Voice Mentoring Programme because I knew it would help me develop important skills in driving forward my campaign to improve endometriosis healthcare in Wales.

By being a WEN Wales mentee I’ve also been able to connect with so many inspirational and talented women who are keen to support and ‘lift-up’ to ensure each others voices are heard.

My mentor on the scheme has had the biggest impact for me. Her advice and guidance have been vital in achieving all that I have with my campaigning, as well as giving me the confidence to believe I can achieve so much more with my career.

I couldn’t recommend this wonderful programme enough to anyone considering applying for the next intake – please go for it, you won’t regret it!

It’s helping us all work towards achieving the goal of more diverse and equal representation, which will benefit future generations and lead to a more fair and equal Wales.
