On reflection the EPEV for me has been more than a Programme. It has been a community.

The programme through my mentor has helped me in several ways. Luke encouraged me to believe in my dreams and not to think that my dreams are too BIG. Throughout the course of the year, I have learnt the importance and relevance in taking small steps towards my goals. I want to serve, in some way, the people of Wales by using my voice to help effect positive change.

The year has presented me with opportunities to participate in trying to work towards a Wales that supports, welcomes and uplifts marginalized people namely refugees and people of colour through an interview on BBC News and through leading The Aberystwyth Anti-Racism Rally. The programme has helped me to learn about the plight of and challenges faced by all marginalized groups.

Wrth edrych yn ôl, mae’r rhaglen PCLlC wedi bod yn fwy na Rhaglen i mi. Mae wedi bod yn gymuned.

Mae’r rhaglen, drwy fy mentor, wedi fy helpu mewn sawl ffordd. Fe wnaeth Luke fy annog i gredu yn fy mreuddwydion, a pheidio â meddwl bod fy mreuddwydion yn rhy FAWR. Trwy gydol y flwyddyn, rwyf wedi dysgu pwysigrwydd a pherthnasedd cymryd camau bach wrth weithio tuag at fy nodau. Rwyf eisiau gwasanaethu pobl Cymru, mewn rhyw ffordd, drwy ddefnyddio fy llais i helpu i effeithio ar newid cadarnhaol.

Mae’r flwyddyn wedi rhoi cyfleoedd i mi gymryd rhan wrth geisio gweithio tuag at greu Gymru sy’n cefnogi, croesawu a chodi pobl ar y cyrion, sef ffoaduriaid a phobl o liw, drwy gyfweliad ar BBC News a thrwy arwain Rali Gwrth-hiliaeth Aberystwyth. Mae’r rhaglen wedi fy helpu i ddysgu am y trafferthion a’r heriau sy’n wynebu grwpiau ar y cyrion.
